| Railroaded |
Generally, fabric patterns run off the fabric bolt in a continuous flow (vertically). A fabric pattern is considered "Railroaded" when the pattern runs horizontally on the bolt, from selvage to selvage. Ex: If the pattern were stripes, you would have to turn the fabric in order for the stripes to run vertically. This is an especially important consideration if you are planning long window treatments. |
