One of our favorite features of Mystic Valley Traders is their exceptional product delivery. All bedding products are made in the USA, so they're available for shipping quickly. Quick-Ship products are stocked by the manufacturer for immediate shipping via UPS. Custom-Quality products, the Accent Pillows Collections and Headboards are shipped within four weeks. This fast turnaround is very unique within the luxury furnishings industry; designer/custom furnishings often take months to create and can involve overseas shipping.
As you shop from our bedding Collections, consider how the bed will be used. Will pets have access to the bed? Do you spend Sunday mornings with the newspaper sprawled across the covers? (Black labs, newsprint and cream velvet don't mix well; select a more muted or deeper color choice, and everyone can happily co-exist!) Are Duvets and Coverlets for decorative use, or will they be used for sleeping comfort? Will the bed be exposed to bright sunlight? Sunlight can bleach certain fabrics; silks, reds and blues are particularly vulnerable, but, lighter colors are much more forgiving of sunlight exposure.
Consider proportion as well. You want the "drop" (what hangs over the edge) of Duvets, Coverlets and Bedskirts to be in correct proportion to one another and to your bed height. Our Tips & Terminology section offers great information on product dimensions and measuring recommendations.
Proportion also plays a role in how many pieces are needed to best make your bed. If you're the cozy type, pile the bed with Shams and Pillows galore. If you prefer a more streamlined look, oversized Shams with one exceptional decorative Pillow can do the trick. Of course, different size beds require different accessorizing. Essential-Luxuries.com inspects each order carefully to assure accuracy. Each piece is packaged in its own zippered plastic shell for protection. We ship via UPS ground service. Orders of $250 or more receive free shipping, with the exception of Headboards. Headboards are shipped via common carrier, C.O.D. freight. Orders totaling under $250 are shipped for a $15 fee. (Shipping rates refer to the continental U.S. and Canada. For other destinations, please request a shipping quote.)
Sometimes it's essential that your luxuries be delivered even quicker than quick. Our relationship with Mystic Valley Traders allows us to accommodate most special requests for expediting orders. Please email us prior to your order to confirm rush options for order production and delivery.
Meticulous care is taken to create each of our luxurious products. To enjoy your Essential-Luxuries.com selection for many years to come, we recommend dry cleaning for all products. Sheet Sets should be laundered in lukewarm or cold water, medium heat to dry. Note: Fills should be removed prior to cleaning.
We are happy to make changes to your order within 24 hours of your original order. Simply send us an e-mail including your name, e-mail address, Order Number, and the exact changes you wish to make.
If you find it necessary to cancel part, or all, of an order, we will accommodate your request within 24 hours of your original order. Simply send us an e-mail including your name, e-mail address, Order Number, and your specific instructions. (Note: Orders for cut yardage cannot be returned.)
After 24 hours, orders are in production with the manufacturer and can not be changed or cancelled.
Damages in shipping are very rare. If, however, your package should arrive damaged due to shipper mishandling, please refuse the package, siting damage as your reason, or failing this, retain all shipping materials (box, packaging, etc.), - in the condition they were received, for inspection by the shipper. Notify us by e-mail immediately, and we will be happy to file a claim on your behalf.
If you believe one of your product pieces is flawed due to workmanship, notify us immediately by e-mail. Include your name, e-mail address, Order Number and a description of the problem. Your satisfaction is important to us and we will replace or repair any defective product piece.
